Our
History
Power
Leadership International was the forerunner to Advance
Power Leadership International - as P.L.I. it accomplished
phenomenal results through sovereignty based seminars,
training courses, and one-on-one coaching delivered by
our specially trained coach/facilitators.
The
powerful techniques and procedures we use and teach cause
major upward trends shifts for our students and clients;
empowering them to better achieve what they want in their
career, in their relationships, and in their lives.
Alan
C. Walter introduced this amazing and effective technology
to the business world in 1965 after he completed seven
years of extensive study, research, and practice in the
field of human motivation. His early research and development
of the techniques used by our organization has taken him
from Australia to Europe, then to the United States where
in May 1965 in Dallas, Texas, he founded “Power
Leadership International Inc.”
Prior
to his interest in leadership and coaching, Alan was a
professional athlete. Being fairly competent in multiple
disciplines. This led him to work with many world champions.
Exposure
to the ethics and work disciplines of champions led
him
to the development of the technology which, tried and
tested, resulted in the masterful ability to totally
duplicate
a subject when trained utilizing specific steps and
techniques.
And
to put it simply:
Champions
have to BE – DO
- and HAVE the power to make themselves
champions.
Success
requires knowledge, responsibility, accountability, integrity,
and mastery over the ownership of your own chosen Games,
own space, own time, own energy, own attention, own objects,
correct orders of importance, the ability to operate spanning
the mood scale and complete focus on and in a known game.
It requiresfull knowledge of your own intentions and your
own identity, knowning the correct actions, having ability
plus know-how to work with someone else's co-actions -
fully envisioned and aligned with those around you, including
full attainment of what was intended. (Slang: Be in the
moment and on the same page. In-the-Zone.)
Great

- and HAVE to succeed.
Great
teams are loaded with players, leaders, executives, support
staff, marketers, sponsors, contributors, clients, and
relationships that are In-the-Zone
in all of the above and in ALL parts of the game. (Slang:
All are in the moment and on the same page. They are In-the-Zone.)
In-the-Zone
leaders naturally evolve when they vastly increase their
knowledge and know-how. By incredible persistence and
use, which in turn validated the workability of the techniques
he discovered and developed, Alan C. Walter began delivering
sovereignty based seminars, coaching, training, and consulting
to companies and individuals. Demand for this evolutionary
knowledge soared and a whole new industry came into being.
In
the beginning of the 21st Century, the corporate structure
and knowledge base of Power Leadership International had
shifted and expanded incredibly, it was time to expand
the scope and delivery systems.
The
training, marketing and services-delivery company became
ADVANCE POWER LEADERSHIP INTERNATIONAL.

Our
Training Philosophy
Advance
Power Leadership International’s unique sovereign
and omni-sovereign training, coaching and facilitating
techniques are the exact opposite of most educational
and motivational techniques in use today.
As
Alan stated: “More than forty years of consulting,
coaching and training individuals has driven home to me
that the majority of self-enhancement workshops, seminars,
and books are, in many cases, ineffective in producing
lasting results. It is of vital importance that we understand
the reason for this.
Nearly
all methods of education and self-enhancement are based
on the positive-attitude approach of ‘Give them
more knowledge’. This is a ‘pile it on top
of’ technique that will produce only limited or
temporary success.
We
can trace this back to 400 BC, when Aristotle stated:
“The mind is a clean tablet upon which experience
writes.”
In
the beginning, at least, this proved true. However, every
experience, whether negative or positive, is inscribed
on that tablet (slate), and unless it is cleaned off from
time to time for new programs to be written on it, the
slate eventually becomes so muddied with information and
misinformation that a basic law of physics takes hold:
No
two things can occupy the same place at the same time.
In
many cases, a piece of inaccurate knowledge or knowledge
connected to a painful experience occupies a place in
the mind. When
an accurate piece of information, such as new or helpful
knowledge, tries to enter the mind, it will be working
against that basic law of physics and will be rejected
because the earlier, inaccurate piece of knowledge or
pain is in its place.
This
often is the case when ‘pile it on top of’
techniques are introduced to the individual. The
information may be good, but the individual already has
something that is contradictory or painful written on
the slate. The
individual exposed to this new area simply will not be
able to think in the area, as seen by the inability to
apply or implement that knowledge.”
One
of the premises that Alan's research is based upon is
that man, in his optimum state, is incapable of error.
If man’s mind were a totally clean slate, he would
search out and find the exact and precise knowledge he
needed to accomplish that which he desired.
To
help man achieve that state, Alan devised an incredibly
powerful method to assist the individual in cleaning the
inaccurate or painful dirty slates. When those slates
have been cleaned, the individual may then choose specifically
the knowledge and information he wants on that slate.
With this clean information, he may operate his life,
knowingly, and optimally direct it to achieve his NEEDs,
WANTs, dreams and aspirations.

POSITIONING PAPER
Advance
Power Leadership International’s mission is:
“The
complete utilization of advance power
to positively lead by discovery, focused envisioning,
direction, coaching, processing to produce high quality
products and effects in your key life areas or spheres
of influence.”
Advance
Power Leadership International is about the co-causative
and co-evolutionary search for the optimum utilization
of sovereign and omni-sovereign intelligence, strengths,
abilities, cleverness, and skills - in individuals, their
partners, their relationships, their organizations, and
the relevant world around them.
The
“Zones” in their broadest sense, involves
the systematic discovery of what gives the optimum “life”
to a living system when it is most alive, most powerful,
most effective, most optimum, and most constructively
capable in economic, ecological, and human terms.
At
its core, APLI involved, the art, science and practice
of asking positive questions that strengthen a system’s
capacity to discover, recognize, apprehend, anticipate,
position, and heighten positive potential and action.
Over
a period of 40 years of application APLI has found that:

Negatives resolve when you discover, focus, direct, lead,
coach and process the positives.
b.
Inabilities resolve when you discover, focus, direct,
lead, coach and process the abilities.
c.
Weaknesses resolve when you discover, focus, direct, lead,
coach and process strengths.
d.
Confusion and stupidities resolve when you discover, focus,
direct, lead, coach and process cleverness.
e.
Unwanted inactions resolve when you discover, focus,
direct,
lead, coach and process the wanted actions.
f.
Lower Yellow and Red Zone negative moods resolve when
you
discover, focus, direct, lead, coach and process the
high Green and Gold Zone positive moods.
g.
Non-Optimums resolve When you discover, focus, direct,
lead, coach and process the Optimums.
APLI
centrally involves the mobilization, discovery, and re-prioritizing
dreams, goals, purposes, visions, and orders of importance
through the crafting and posing of “unconditional
positive questions” often-involving hundreds or
sometimes thousands of people.
Utilizing
the APLI methodology, the arduous tasks of problem solving,
conflict management, dispute intervention gives way to
the speed of imagination and innovation; instead of negation,
criticism, and spiraling diagnosis, there is discovery,
revitalizations of dreams, grand visions, releasing of
life-force particles, exhilarating passions, and certainty
of design, form and know-how.
Fundamentally,
APLI seeks to build a sovereign and omni-sovereign unity
between a whole people and the massive entirety of what
people dispute, anguish, argue and talk about as past,
present and future capacities: love, truth, aligned relationships,
knowledge, integrity, virtues, know-how, experience, achievements,
under utilized assets, hidden resources, unexplored potentials,
suppressed innovations, strengths, elevated thoughts,
opportunities, benchmarks, high point moments, lived values,
traditions, strategic competencies, stories, expressions
of wisdom, insights into the deeper individual and corporate
spirit or soul-- and the sudden and immediate expanded
visions of great valued and possible futures.
Taking
all of these together as a potential operating masterpiece,
APLI knowingly and causatively, in everything it does,
seeks to work from the massive intelligence and power
contained in this “positive life energizing core”—and
it is certain that every living system has many rich and
inspiring - though unknown, unmapped, untapped - capabilities
